College Faculty - Stage/Production Manager
Asst Professor, Tenure Track. Seeking Stage/Production Manager to teach in B.A. and M.F.A. programs and manage all production aspects beginning fall 2012. Required qualifications: M.F.A. in theatre; Actors Equity Association membership; ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty/staff; evidence of excellence in teaching, training, or mentoring. Preferred qualifications: previous university teaching; significant recent stage/production management at a LORT D or above theatre or an equivalent production facility/entertainment venue; membership in AGVA or related guilds. Associate Director of Production Services
Associate Director of Production Services The Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech seeks an experienced arts production and technical operations professional to serve as Associate Director of Production Services. Part of a university commitment to the arts on campus and in surrounding communities, the Center for the Arts will include a 1,260-seat performance hall, two visual arts galleries, and creative technologies research labs and studios. The Associate Director of Production Services provides production and technical support and manages new technologies, staff, and budgets.
